In 1979 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Complutense University. From 1979 to 1989 he worked as a doctor in the National Health System and in private medicine as a general practitioner. From 1989 to 2002 he was dedicated to Private healthcare, and to the management of Medical Centers.
In 1997 he began to practice as an aesthetic doctor and nutritionist. Between 2001 and 2007 he completed university diplomas in Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery, Nutrition and Antiaging Medicine. In 2007 he was accredited by the Illustrious Official College of Physicians of Madrid as an Aesthetic Physician.
In 2007 he created the LIPEDEMA INSTITUTE, this Institute is dedicated to the study, diagnosis and treatment of Lipedema.
National and International speaker of various studies on this disease.
He has been a professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is currently a professor at the University of Barcelona.
He is a member of various scientific societies related to Aesthetics, Lipedema and Microbiota.
He is currently the Medical Director of the Clinics that the Lipedema Institute has in Spain, where he continues to investigate the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of this pathology.
