Dr Andrzej Szuba is currently Professor of Medicine and the head of the Department of Angiology, Hypertension and Diabetology at Wroclaw Medical University, Poland. He specializes in internal medicine and in vascular medicine.
His primary clinical and scientific interests are: lymphatic disorders, peripheral arterial disease and venous thromboembolic disease.
He is the past President of the International Society of Lymphology and the founding member of ILA (International Lipedema Association). In Poland he is the President of the Lymphological Chapter of the Polish Phlebological Society and the past President of the Polish Angiological Society.
He has published over 240 scientific papers and book chapters. His Citation Index (Web of Science Core) is over 9000 and h index = 34
Dr Szuba is Vice-Editor-in-Chief of Acta Angiologica and also an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Lymphatic Research and Biology.
