Alexandre Campos Moraes Amato

Alexandre Amato is a Professor of Vascular Surgery at the University of Santo Amaro (UNISA) from 2009 to 2022, and a Specialist in General Surgery by the Brazilian College of Surgeons. He is also the President of the non-profit association Associação Brasileira de Lipedema (lipedema.org.br). Alexandre is an expert in Vascular Surgery by the Brazilian Medical Association and the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, as well as an expert in Angioradiology and Endovascular Surgery by the Brazilian Medical Association and the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery. He is also an expert in Vascular Ultrasound by the Brazilian College of Radiology. Alexandre has published numerous scientific articles in national and international journals and authored several books, including “Método de Exercícios para o Lipedema,” “Dieta Cetogênica Estratégica,” “Dieta Anti-inflamatória Estratégica,” and “Procedimentos Médicos: Técnica e Tática.” His current research interests focus on Lipedema and its relations with other diseases. Alexandre is also a professor and the creator of the OsiriX Course for Vascular Surgeons (www.curso-osirix.com.br).
